Custom Callsign MMDVM Hotspot Node Stand, Raspberry Pi Zero DMR Desk Mount (Personalized)
Make sure to select the colors you desire.
A personalized desk stand that puts your callsign and your MMDVM hotspot front and centre in the shack.
Loose hotspots slide around the desk, hang off their USB cable and end up antenna down behind the monitor. This stand cradles the node upright, routes the USB lead out to the back and points the antenna straight up, so the board stays put and the cabling stays tidy while you work a talkgroup or a reflector.
The front nameplate carries your own callsign, which turns a bare plastic hotspot into a finished piece of desk kit and makes it obvious whose node is whose at a club night, a field day table or a contest station.
Every stand is printed to order with the callsign you supply, then cleaned up by hand, so it is not a same day dispatch item. Printing and finishing start once your callsign is confirmed and your order is dispatched in 3 to 5 business days from that point.

✨ Personalization
Type the exact callsign you want on the nameplate into the Callsign field in the buy box, just above the Add to Cart button (on Etsy this is the Personalization box). The nameplate takes up to 8 characters: letters, digits and a slash, so a suffix such as GB0ABC/P fits. Check the spelling and any suffix before you order, since each stand is printed specifically for that callsign.

❓ FAQ
Q: My node lives in a chunky aftermarket case, will it still sit in the cradle? A: Message me with the case model, or its width and thickness, before ordering and I will confirm the fit or tell you if it is too bulky.
Q: Is the callsign a separate insert or part of the stand itself? A: It is printed into the front face as one piece with the stand, so there is nothing to glue on, slot in or peel off later.
Q: Will it cope with the heat from a transmitting node? A: A Pi Zero hotspot runs at low power and warms rather than gets hot, which PLA handles fine in normal indoor use. It is not heat proof though, so avoid direct sunlight, radiators and hot cars, where PLA can soften.
Q: Can I have a second stand with a different callsign? A: Yes, order one stand per callsign and enter each callsign in the Callsign field for that item.
⚠️ Please Note
This is a made to order print, so fine layer lines are visible on the surface and are a normal characteristic of the process rather than a fault. Slight differences in tone, texture and finish between individual prints are to be expected.
Because the nameplate is personalised, orders can be changed or cancelled free of charge until the callsign is confirmed and printing starts, so message me quickly if you spot a typo. Once a personalised stand is printed it cannot be resold, so mistyped callsigns supplied by the buyer are not returnable, but if I print the callsign wrong I reprint it free. If your stand arrives damaged in transit, send me a photo and I will sort out a replacement.
Details
Every Innofenyx piece is 3D printed to order in our workshop in Quebec, Canada. Nothing sits in a warehouse — we print, finish, and inspect each item by hand once your order comes in.
We use durable, display-grade materials chosen for the specific piece: PLA for sculptural detail, PETG for functional pieces that need extra strength. Every item is checked for finish quality and structural integrity before it leaves the workshop.
Because each order is made individually, small variations in color, layer texture, or finish are part of what makes your piece unique. If you need a specific color combination or a fully custom design, reach out — we love a good custom commission.
